The rising water level compresses the air in the upper space, and the water pressure of the entire water supply pipeline gradually increases. When the pressure reaches (30~40)x104Pa, it acts on the pressure relay through the pressure transmission pipe, causing the motor to be powered off and the water pump to stop working. As the water is consumed, the water level in the pressure water tank drops. When the pressure drops to (15-20)x104Pa, the pressure relay connects the circuit again, the motor works, and the water pump starts to supply water again.
The application of pressure water tanks not only solves the water problem on board, but also saves electricity. Pressure water tank water supply equipment is light in weight, occupies a small area, can be installed in any lower part, can be automatically controlled, saves energy and reduces emissions, and has become an important equipment used by modern medium and small passenger ships and cargo ships.
